CHC30708 Certificate III in Children's Services -BEGINS MONDAY FEBRUARY 15
The Certificate III in Children's Services is an entry-level qualification which will enable you to gain employment and work with children in childcare centres and out-of-school hours care. During the qualification you will learn about children's development, the important role family and society play in how children develop as well as be given practical input to teach you to care for and provide play activities to help the development of children in a centre-based facility. The qualification will be delivered in flexible mode over a 20-week period including classroom-based learning from 9.00 am - 2.30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Work-based Learning on Tuesdays and Self-directed Learning on Fridays to complete assessments. A minimum of 100 hours work-based learning must be successfully completed in order to gain the qualification.
All your textbooks and study materials are included. Students will be screened for a Working with Children Check for criminal offences relating to children. In addition to the units listed below you will need to meet other course requirements (e.g. practicum) before being eligible for either a Statement of Attainment or a Certificate.

Important things to know: All Full Certificate Qualifications require the applicant to undergo a VET English Test and an interview prior to enrolling. All Full Certificate Qualifications can be paid in three [3] installments by direct debit. The first installment is to be payed upon enrolment. Debit cards are not accepted.
