Scrapbook It Your Way
— Susan Schrader
Discover the world of Scrapbooking and learn techniques of presenting your best-loved photographs in a way which will be the envy of all your family and friends. Our experienced tutor will show you ways to present your personal memories using a variety of shapes (e. g. round, oval, geometrical, hexagonal) using a guillotine to trim photographs as well as show you material you can use to decorate or highlight your photographs. The main tools used are stencils shaped in a variety of ways. In this way, photographs can be interlocked and the page remains light with clean classy lines. Any decorations simply enhance the photographs not dominate. The main objective of Scrapbooking is to enhance the presentation of your photographs so that each time you and your family look at them your memory will recall with pride and joy your perfect wedding day, the birth of your child, that trip of a lifetime or that special occasion. The photographs and their content guide the layout and determine the page decoration. All materials will be provided- you will simply need to bring along to the class 18-30 of your favourite photographs. These will need to have the same theme, for example, 'Our wedding' or 'My trip to Paris' etc. Class size is restricted to 10 to ensure personal attention for each participant.
