ARABIC-INTRODUCTORY

This introductory language course will help prepare students for communication and travel in Arabic-speaking countries. Please note that given the variety of Arabic dialects spoken in various countries and even the number of dialects (or slang expressions) spoken within a particular country, the College teaches the formal Arabic used in official situational contexts, that is, the Arabic of teaching and learning. The course will include an introduction to reading and writing the Arabic script, basic communication phrases and vocabulary useful for travel and daily routines. The teacher will provide modelling of the standard formal expressions commonly used and where possible point out some alternative choices ranging from the formal to the informal.
Our language teachers are native speakers of the language they teach, are experienced teachers and all hold formal university teaching qualifications.Term 2's class is selling fast so make sure you book now!
