Photography for Beginners

This is the ideal course for you if you want to develop a practical understanding of the photographic medium. Our tutor will cover the following aspects: foundations of photography such as exposure, navigating the features of a camera, lenses, different films, filters and the use of flash. Participants are encouraged to bring along their own SLR or digital 35 mm camera and owner's manual. This popular class is limited to 15 participants. (NO COMPACT POINT AND SHOOT CAMERAS)

Photography - Intermediate

If you have completed a beginners' photography course and are keen to develop your skills further this course is a must. Our tutor will guide you to build on your existing creativity and improve your technical expertise. The course will focus on: portraiture, landscape, action/sports, still life, travel and documentary. Theoretical classroom will be supplemented with two weekend shoots (early morning and a twilight session). This course requires participants to have access to an SLR/digital 35 mm camera (NO COMPACT POINT AND SHOOT CAMERAS)

PHOTOGRAPHY ADVANCED
This new advanced-level course is for students who have either completed the College's Intermediate-level photography course or for those who have a solid understanding of photography principles and skills. The tutor, a professional photographer, will assist you to produce a portfolio of work in your area of interest.
