This qualification is suitable for those who hold the Certificate III and/or are already employed in the industry and who are wanting to expand their knowledge, skills and employment opportunities. Successful completion of the Diploma allows students to be eligible to work as Directors and/or supervisors in a children’s service environment.
The qualification will be delivered in flexible mode over a 48-week period and will include both classroom-based and work-based training. A minimum of 400 hours work based learning must be completed in order to gain the full qualification. The work-based component will have to be completed with all ages from 0 -12 years.
