This intensive course has been designed for anyone who already uses Excel at work and who acknowledges that their Excel skills need updating.
Participants will learn to create and practise useful formulas for budgets, using labels and names in formulas, using absolute and relative referencing in formulas, logical formulas (IF, AND, OR, NOT), working with different functions, creating simple charts, selecting ranges, filling a series and using Excel for record-keeping and human resources purposes such as maintaining staff entitlements.
Some basic knowledge of Excel is required. This course is ideal for those who have at minimum already completed a basic introductory Excel course such as the College’s Weekend Excel workshop and/or who use Excel daily in their work.
