Traditional Scrapbooking

Take your photos out of that old shoebox or off your hard drive on your computer and learn how to create wonderful albums that will become treasured mementos for your family and for years to come. Our tutor will show you what materials and equipment you need to start and demonstrate the benefits of using quality paper and albums. You will be encouraged to select a theme for your album and be shown how to choose paper and embellishments that enhance that theme. Learn how to crop photos into a variety of shapes from minimal cropping to shaping your photos as ovals, circles, and other suitable shapes in order to showcase the photos and create impact. You will be shown how to personalise your layout by creating a story using titles, journalling, mementos and embellishments.

Basic cutting and pasting tools and paper will be provided by the College. Bring along craft mats and 30-40 photographs (all COPIES of originals as no responsibility can be taken for damage to original photos).
